The social sector is a crowded industry. Donors are constantly bombarded with organizations competing for their attention. Sometimes there are not enough funds to keep every nonprofit organization running. Even organizations helping extremely marginalized populations that few are assiting or nonprofits that have longterm and sustainable program planning can fail to find the funding they need to implement their programming. That is the unfortunate reality of the world of giving.
While this is the case, those in the industry can’t take it personally when a company declines to donate. They must push on and continue forwards.
